23 and better

So, I turned 23 today, like there’s no doubt now that I am an “Adult” adult, living my dreams and making new ones as I go.

This very day last year was hell, I was lonely AF, broken, felt incomplete, and not worthy of anything. Weird how much can change so fast, things that seemed like never-ending misery no longer exist and I almost laugh it off.

I have a decent-paying job that doesn’t bore me quite often, the family has grown very supportive since the last year(which was a freaking hell), I have all things I can wish for, and most often I find myself happy.

Here are a few things I aim to adapt in my life as I grow in the next year to come:

  1. Consciously try and be happy every day
  2. Exercise a bit every day
  3. Invest in long-term friendships
  4. Move out and live independently
  5. Travel as much as I can
  6. Invest in personal branding
  7. Find and work with great people
  8. Work on side projects and build a great portfolio
  9. Make, spend and save as much as I can while being happy
  10. Build great relationships with parents, relatives, and people around me
  11. Try not to be hypercritical, be humble
  12. Give back to society, invest in people

A few goals I would love to work towards:

  1. Increasing my income by 2x by improving skills but without increasing working hours or stress levels, probably reducing both.
  2. Become the fittest version of myself (gotta be hot if you want them chicks, I am 23 now)
  3. Build a side project which is a hobby (not with the core motive of profitability, but profitable)

Yes, this is too much to ask for, but this is exactly how I see myself for the next year to come, until and unless I get hit by another wave of depression or something not under my control fucks up.

Hopefully, the update for next year’s post is “24 and great!

Have a great day, because I had a great one too.

  1. Hoping you get to see most if not all of the above goals happening for you this year, it’ll be 24 and great. ✨
